Turning the Ordinary into the Extraordinary!

Cartooning

To cartoon or not to cartoon... Many may not realize how fun and effective cartooning can be when added to a video in a unique way. Not a "kid only" effect!

Various method I've used include creating animated titles to set the mood of the piece, Using cut out photos of peoples heads onto a cartoon body that is animated with in a clip, and unexpectedly inserting a quick cartoon into a clip (as the moment dictates). Another form is retro scoping, to where x-amount of frames use a special painting effect to give impact. See some examples below.

NOTE: The quality was reduced for a quicker download time.

Memory Lane: Created for the beginning and middle point of clip. I inserted the couple's photo face into cartoon bodies. They bob and wave as their car travels down memory lane to a bright tune.

Yellow Submarine: A group of friends wanted a video clip to reflect their life and time together. I combined unexpected video shots to tell the story. Then I created three separate sub cartoons featuring their faces that play during the chorus.
